You know the saying "you learn something new every day"? This has never been truer for me than during my time working at Event 360. Many days, I learn new skills that help me grow professionally. This makes me excited to come to work each day and to tackle whatever challenge awaits me.
Even more often, though, I learn lessons from my many teammates that apply not just to my job but to all areas of my life: dedication, passion, poise, and humor. I'm grateful to be a part of a team where each day, I learn how to be a better version of myself just by striving to be as great as my teammates around me.
Someone asked me the other day what I do for a living. And as I told them, my face lit up. "Yeah, I love my job," I said. Her response? "That's not something you hear every day."

I first came to Event 360 courtesy of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the CureTM. As a participant in this life-changing event, I was immediately drawn to the fortunate few who were able to make event fundraising their profession. To be able to lend my hands and my heart to our client's missions, that is what energizes me each day at Event 360. As a child my mother often said, "Treat people the way you want to be treated." Event 360 embodies that value in the meaningful relationships created amongst our team. When my own mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 11 years ago, I found a way to be involved through events and specifically event fundraising. It provided a much needed outlet for my family to show their support during my mom's battle with breast cancer. As a participant I was in awe of this amazing world created through a community of people working toward the same mission and goal as myself. I found myself craving that in my day-to-day life and began working in this line of business over nine years ago, leaving behind the world of impersonal communication in high-tech Public Relations. Working at Event 360 has been the best experience of my professional career- one where I feel like the job mirrors that awestruck feeling I get as a participant. This is a company where you are encouraged to share your opinions, knowledge, experience and ideas in a way that makes you feel completely involved and engaged. I have been part of the Event 360 team since November of 2005. I had been participating in the 3-Day for the Cure walks for many years and always appreciated how organized that event was and impressed by the attention that is paid to every detail.
